Introducing myself
Hi! My name is Yuki Hirasawa. Just call me Yuki. My name is used by both men and women but I'm actually male. I'm from Japan. In Japan, we have meanings in our names. For example, at first my name is consisted of two characters called Kanji. The first one means friends and the second one means hope. My mom gave me this name for me. She has talent to name people, doesn't she? My major is linguistics and I am learning not only English, also Chinese. This year, after this semester, I'll go to China, Beijing, to study. So this year is one of the busiest year of my life.
I have many hobbies that I want to share with you. but if I talk about all of my hobbies, the sun is going to set and rise. So take a look at a couple of them. At first, I really love sports. I go to the gym in the university almost everyday after school and I do some workout. I have played many sports like baseball for 3 years, tennis for 3 years, badminton for 2 years, soccer 1 year and now I'm into basketball. I think the most favorite sports I have played is tennis. When I was in high school, 16~18 years old, I had belonged to tennis club which the school organised. I was beginner and I didn't have any ideas about how to play or how to hit a ball. But the corch was really good at teaching tennis and he has actually been an Instractor. Thanks to him, my techenic made huge progress and our team became one of the strongest team in the local place. In summer, when I was in 3 grade of high school, this was the retiring from sports team season in all of high school, I was chosen as a member of the last match. It was a tournament match which means if we lose once, we cannot play in our tean anymore. My team could win many times at the preliminary, and we finally could become best 16 in Osaka. It was great memory for me. After retirin the team, I still liked to play tennis, so I applyed for being an instracter and I could be one finally. This is a part of me. If you are interested in my other hobbies, I'll talk about that next blog. Nice to meet you everyone. Thank you for watching my blog!!

Yuki, thanks for writing so much. You told us a lot about you. Tennis is a sport I would like to play more. I used to play basketball and volleyball a lot. I have an idea.. maybe you should learn to surf this summer. It is a great, but challenging sport. (I used to surf a lot too.)
ReplyDeleteI really wanna try!! I think I'll do surf with Travis this next weekend. If you have tips or something about how to surf, please share with me.
